ABOUT REGION LOCK:

Prices vary depending on which region you are in(e.g., US/Canada, UK, Australia, etc), and each region has their own website UIs, default pricings and default number of devices. If you try to purchase in different region by using a VPN simply because that specific region has lower price than your own, it might not be able to detect you on purchase, but it’s eventually going to detect you that you are not actually living in that region. Because ESET continuously checks your geographical ESET server location to update the module throughout the day, it would realize that the initial purchase on specific server doesn’t match with your actual server, leading to a ban of your license for violating the policy. Of course, It doesn’t ban your license just because you travel around the world a lot and your location changes frequently, so no need to worry about that.
